Week 1

The class was started off by Professor Azaroff reintroducing himself and our course. The class exchanged e-mail addresses and the professor went over the syllabus. The class was introduced with the first group project. We have been given the opportunity to design our exhibition space for the Interior Design Gallery Show beneath the studio on the first floor. Before creating the environment for the space we first had to become very familiar with the space. We broke up into groups and received the tasks to survey the space, draw it in CAD, model it in 3-D CAD, and create the post card options for advertising the show.

My thought on the class:
Every time I have been given a group project I usually feel very overwhelmed and frustrated, especially when you are in a very large group and do not know everyone. Thankfully, Professor Azaroff walked us through the first step, got us into group, and gave us deadlines, which made me feel very organized and ready to tackle the project.
